Arthrodesis times two means no christmas presents for you...(part 2)

Arthrodesis = joint fusion

on tuesday 12/16/2008 i had a bilateral arthrodesis on the proximal and distal joints of my second toes. in place of those joints, i now have absorbable pins. now my second toes are completely straight and i'm only able to bend my toes where they connect to my feet.

No Meds Last Night...That's why i'm up so early

usually i take several meds to help me sleep at night, but last night i skipped them because i had indigestion from eating so much butter chicken (plus 2 martinis) that i was afraid to fall asleep. I fell asleep anyway, but i was sitting upright so it wasn't so bad.

next week i'm having surgery on both of my feet. now i have an excuse not to buy Christmas gifts. I'm so bad.

Why am I doing this?
